This is why we have two different ways to register for any of our interested visiting guests.
First, any guest can click on the "Register" link located on the top-right of every page at IgnoranceDenied.com.

How to register a member account at IgnoranceDenied.com
First of all,... a membership here is FREE & EASY !!
Lets start at the beginning.

So after you click the "Register" text at the top-right of any page, then
the next page you will see will look similar (in part) to the image below.

The first section shown above is mandatory to fill out correctly.
The first box is for your username that you wish to go by. It can be anything you like, but it cannot match any name already registered. If the name you enter is already taken, blocked by our censors, or otherwise not allowed, you will see a red box show up immediatly below it telling you that that name can not be used.
Never fear, just backspace to clear it out and try another username.
Get creative, and as soon as it is an acceptable name, the box will turn green.

The next two boxes are for you to select a password. Both passwords you enter must match exactly,
and be sure to pick something difficult but yet, something you can remember.

Below the password boxes are the email address boxes. Again, both email addresses must match exactly.
VERY IMPORTANT: The email address you enter must be accurate and real, as the registration validation email will be sent to the address you entered. If you enter in an incorrect email address, you will not be able to receive the validation email to complete the registration process and gain full access to the website.
Now this next part is the part can that get complicated, but don't worry.

Because of spammers always wanting to post silly things that we don't want on ID, we use the reCAPTCHA mechanism to help prevent unnecessary people from registering.
Two things to note about reCAPTCHA:
1 - If the words cannot be read by you, you can refresh the image for new words using the recycle icon inside the reCAPTCHA box.
2 - Type the two words you read exactly as you see it. It is case-sensitive.
Now, that wasnt so bad was it?
Now, on to Part II ,...
The image below shows the last two parts of the registration page.
While these items arent mandatory, they are probably just as important.
1 - If someone referred you to the site and you know their username, enter it in the referral box.
(The referring member gets a special pat-on-the-back for bringing you on board)

2 - Select the time zone you are in. This is only important if you want any of the time stamps on any of the posts to make sense to you. (it is kinda helpful to know when you posted something, or to know when someone sent you a message)
3 - Daylight Savings Time? (you know who we are talking about)
If it applies, set it for automatic. If it doesnt apply, select to turn it off.

4 - You can select to not receive any emails from the administrator, but your forum notices will show up if you check "yes".
And finally, the "I Agree" stuff.
Feel free to read the Terms of Service of IgnoranceDenied.com, as you will be held to the rules and expected member conduct. Our "Privacy Policy" is linked there also for your convenience.
Check the "I Agree" checkbox and then click on the "Complete Registration" button.
There, you are done !!

You will very soon receive an email from our website asking you to validate
your membership registration by clicking on a link in the email.

And if all went well, then you are now able to login and use all the features of ID,
post in the forums, post on your ID Blog, join a Social Group, or whatever you like.

Was there a problem?
Entered the wrong email address in the registration form?
No worries. You can still login to your account, click on "Settings", and change your email address to reflect your correct email address. You still have to get the email and click on the link to be able to participate in the websites features and groups. So go to the next step below to finally complete the process after you have corrected your email address in order to get another validation email sent.

Didnt receive your validation email that you expected?
Still no problem. First check you spam box in your email account. You may need to flag it as "Not Spam" so the emails no longer get sent there. If you are sure you didnt receive the email, you can CLICK HERE to have another email sent to your address.
